I would gladly have taken the time from when my son was 16 till the time when my daughter was 20, a period of six years off. As a matter of fact, I would rather have spent six tours in the Nam than go through that. So, I sympathize with you on that. My simple solution to the ads on FOX news is simply to mute them. I, too, watch Bret Hume at six every day but I do it with remote in hand. When the breaks come up, I mute it and then my wife, Suzanne, and I discuss what we have just heard in the news. With my usual ranting about what this lib just said or how non conservative this so called conservative is, there is no way she can pay attention to the ads. I agree with you, there should be a warning of adult content. Congrats also in getting your teen to watch news.
