H...James Carville is one of my favorite Democrats. He just slays me. Whenever I see him on TV or read something he wrote I know I'm in for a laugh. He is too outlandish for me to take seriously. Maybe that is why he gets so much attention. People that take him to seriously are missing a great opportunity for some real entertainment. Like myself, Carville is an LSU alum and a former Marine. Given those credentials I can overlook the democrat part. Even better than his political side is his stance on college football's BCS system. Below is what he wrote earlier in the season before either Boston College or California got beaten.

"The BCS is like the electoral college — a convoluted way to pick a winner," Carville told Sports Illustrated. "The electoral college was a bad idea thought up by great men trying to do a noble thing. The BCS is a stupid idea thought up by intellectual midgets trying to protect greedy college presidents.

"My dream scenario for the BCS is that California and Boston College go undefeated while LSU has a one-point loss. The computers put Cal and BC in the national championship game in New Orleans. A slew of enraged Cajuns descend on the city and hang the BCS establishment in Jackson Square. A Louisiana jury, still searching for justice, awards the Cajun mob $500 million in civil damages.

Now you just gotta love this guy.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01508484474922218417noreply@blogger.com
